Rottnest is also home to some of the world’s finest beaches and crystal-clear warm waters. The Mediterranean-style climate is perfect for relaxing on the decks of the Nordon, or being dropped ashore and enjoying the varieties of activities available for all ages and levels of energy! Picture yourself lazily swimming and diving in bath-warm, sparkling aquamarine water, filled with hundreds of species of tropical fish. Snow-white sandy beaches are the perfect places for picnics, games of cricket, sandcastles, sunbathing, and general relaxation and enjoyment.

Charter Boat Rottnest Island: A typical day trip to Rottnest Island onboard the Nordon might go something like this .....

Charter Boat Rottnest Island: Take your family or friends ... You and 19 friends, family, or colleagues meet at either Mends St Jetty (South Perth), Barrack St Jetty (City) or JoJo's Jetty in East Fremantle at 9am, bringing swim suites, towels, sunblock, hat, and walking shoes if you wish to explore the island. You'll recognise the Nordon because she is painted a striking and remarkable red - one of the characteristics that has made her so well-recognised in Western Australia waters for the last 30 years! Our cheerful staff will welcome you aboard, and serve everybody a cool drink, or freshly brewed coffee and tea.

Cruising over to Rottnest Island, you and your guests relax and enjoy the sea breeze, the many colourful sails of the yachts, and the amazing views of Perth and the Indian Ocean shore. Arriving at Rottnest, our first stop might be at the popular Thompson Bay, a small settlement with cafe's, playgrounds, a dive centre, museum, and gorgeous beaches. You may choose to swim, snorkel, explore the settlement or island walkways, or hire a bicycle and travel the beautiful car-free sandy cycle paths. The kids might want to build a giant sandcastle, you might want to get a coffee at the tearooms, you may just want to lie in the shallows and have the waves tickle your toes as you sunbathe (slathered in sun block, of course!).

Having worn yourself out with all this relaxing in Rottnest’s idyllic setting; you’ll look forward to sinking into one of the seats aboard the Nordon where you’ll be served refreshing Western Australia white wines and beers, while the smiling staff from Ultimo Catering serve you a mouth-watering lunch that's been prepared fresh on-board. Charter Boat Rottnest Island: Guanantee

So many options ... that's the Nordon - GUARANTEEING YOU HAVE AN AMAZING DAY ABOARD, or your MONEY BACK!

Charter Boat Rottnest Island: Snorkel the reefs and wrecks.

So, you've had a fantastic lunch, a few drinks (alcoholic or non-), now it's time to lean back and relax while the Nordon drifts around Rottnest, allowing you all to enjoy the beautiful views while you're taken to the next secluded bay. There are a lot to choose from - popular spots for visitors include The Basin; a reef-protected bay perfect for children, as well as Thompson Bay, Longreach Bay, Little Parakeet Bay, and Geordie Bay. Another good one is Little Salmon Bay, where the snorkelling tour begins for the 13 shipwrecks around Rottnest Island.

Snorkelling is a popular pastime on Rottnest; as the coral reefs, thirteen shipwrecks, and exciting diversity of life in the marine park surrounding Rottnest attract recreational divers and snorkellers from all over the world.

You’ll be thrilled to discover amazing reef formations, 100 year old shipwrecks, schools of temperate and tropical fish, and even a turtle or dolphin! Rottenest is one of the best locations in Perth for scuba diving and snorkelling, with around 360 species of fish which are drawn to the waters of Rottnest by the Leeuwin current, and 20 species of coral which are found within the nature reserve.

A snorkel tour has been recently been launched from Little Salmon Bay, which joins thirteen underwater wrecks. These unusual pieces of Perth history include wrecks of the Transit (1842) a wooden two masted schooner, the Gem (1876) a 52 ton British cutter, and the Denton Holme (1890) a 998 ton iron barque. Don’t worry – the Nordon has better navigational equipment than these unfortunate ships!

As you travel back to Perth, you can relax aboard the Nordon and watch the Indian Ocean start to darken as the day comes to a close. You and your friends or family are grinning, revitalised, and relaxed after an absolutely amazing cruise to Rottnest Island, which you've enjoyed thanks to our ever-helpful crew and stylish charter boat. That's why we have the 100% Guarantee - because we KNOW for CERTAIN you'll have the best trip possible with the Nordon. We are here to please, and have been doing exactly that for the last 30 years in Perth! P.S. Charter Boat Rottnest Island: Photos. You'll be even happier when we give you the photos our crew took during the day (told you they're helpful!) with our on-board camera, capturing moments that will be remembered for a lifetime. Get out your photos and boast about your awesome trip to Rottnest Island aboard the Norton!

P.P.S. Charter Boat Rottnest Island: Souveniers. You can purchase excellent souveniers from our captain, such as beautiful red and white striped beach towels, caps, t-shirts and more. They're all high quality, and monogrammed to you remember your awesome trip with something useful! They make great gifts too.

P.P.P.S. Charter Boat Rottnest Island: Quokkas. Don’t be put off by the name! Rottenest Island, or ‘Rotto’ as it is affectionately called by locals, was so named because when the Dutch landed on the island, they thought it was populated by rats, ‘rattnest’. No need to be afraid, they aren’t rats but ‘Quokkas’, a protected native mammal similar to a very tiny kangaroo. Very cute!
